Quality Tuning for your Piano

The majority of my work is tuning in private homes. I use a method that utilizes the latest techniques, which allows you to have the most accurate tuning available. Please give me a call or complete a contact form, and we can arrange a time that suits you.

Regular tuning keeps your piano in the best condition, so tuning at least twice a year is recommended by every manufacturer. If your piano has not been tuned for more than a year, it may need extra work to restore it to the proper pitch. If that is the case, please send a request for a quote, or call on the phone, and I will explain your options.

The reason it may need extra work is that the total tension of all of the strings on a piano is about 30,000 lbs. A mostly wooden structure is not able to hold that amount of tension indefinitely. As a result, pianos are constantly dropping in tension and in pitch. As long as you tune your piano every 6-12 months, I will be able to restore it to its proper pitch in one tuning.

I am available for recording studio, teaching studio, and concert tuning, as well. I have years of experience preparing pianos for performance at the highest levels.
